After My 30 Day Trial, I’ve Got a Plan
I started this blog back in April and my original intent was to blog daily for at least 30 days to prove to myself that I could. And I did (except for a couple of cheat days).
After getting my feet wet, rethinking how it went and a weekend redesign, here’s what this is going to be:
- A daily journal of Calvin’s life and caring for someone with special needs
- Technical how-tos on what I have built and what I am working on now
- My personal philosophies and visions on how technology can, could, might, ought–or not–be used for people with special needs
- Technical reviews of software and hardware devices I’m currently using or looking to use with Calvin
What can you do?
My goal is to make technology easier and more accessible to caretakers and people with special needs. We want people to have a high quality of life and while technology won’t solve the problem, an extra hour or two per day is like a year.
If one of my posts is interesting to you, or you have friends/family who are taking care of someone with special needs, please share with them and have them reach out to me. I can’t promise anything but an attempt to do as much as I can.
